Feb. 3–March 7, 2010 (No performances Feb. 20 and 21, 2010.)
Wednesday–Friday at 10 and 11:30 a.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m
It’s a winter night in the mid-1800s. The river is frozen. A small figure struggles to cross, her baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. She is Eliza Harris — a slave and a mother. This may be her last chance to escape to freedom. Is the hand stretched out on the other side ready to help — or send her back into slavery? Learn about Eliza, Harriet Tubman, Henry “Box” Brown and other inspiring figures of the Underground Railroad.
