Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 9-10, 2010

Middle school girls join forces with professional women scientists to confront challenges and find solutions to common problems faced by scientists and engineers.

Fee: $10 per girl. For every four girls, one adult chaperone is required and admitted free. Additional adults are $10. Pre-registration required. For more information or to register, call (804) 864-1400 or 800-659-1727.

Girls in Science Camp In is sponsored by DuPont and the Society of Women Engineers.

Choose from the following dates. All Camp Ins begin on Friday night and end Saturday morning. Register early because dates sell out quickly:

• January 14-15, 2011
• January 28-29, 2011
• March 11-12, 2011
• March 25-26, 2011
• May 6-7, 2011

Camp In is recommended for grades 1-6. Pre-registration is required.
