Middle school students working in teams design and build a vehicle that will complete a race in the shortest time possible using energy from the sun.

Note: If you choose this option, please carefully read rules and regulations relating to acceptable panels and motors!

Awards will be given for

• The Five Fastest Cars
• The Five Best-designed Vehicles

Technical merit, craftsmanship and innovation will be considered.
