The Earth’s natural energy has been fueling ecosystems around the world for billions of years. What are some ways that we can tap into this renewable resource?
Life on this planet wouldn’t exist without the Sun. Plants, trees and flowers have thrived by harnessing this naturally occurring, renewable resource. So, how can we get in on that?
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system! Not but a little, but by A LOT! This gas giant is a very intense place filled with massive stirrings and swirling layers of gases. This giant also has 64 moons and a giant storm that has been brewing for centuries!
Humanity has often turned to the skies for cosmic explanations – sometimes leading to amazing discoveries other times leading to bad predictions.
So, The Pats and the Giants are going to square off in one of America's most popular televised sports events, but have you ever considered the numbers behind this game? Lots of flights, tickets, ad time, money for the half time show, and of course chicken wings. Lots and lots and lots of chicken...

Though women hold nearly half of all the jobs in the US, they still only hold less than 25% of STEM jobs. The Museum is a place for girls to dream about the possibilities of their future!
The human body is a pretty amazing and complex thing. to celebrate the human body, and our summer exhibition Body Worlds & The Brain, we made some eye-catching visits to two of our community partners who know a lot about the human form - The Richmond Ballet and The Downtown YMCA.
