Exhibit galleries and Live Science feature hands-on experiences that present key science principles in fun and surprising ways. All of our experiences – including IMAX® films – are correlated to the Virginia Standards of Learning.
We offer special programs for homeschool students and are more than happy to work with you to customize a program to ensure that you get the most out of your visit.
Looking for something for a budding scientist? Climb aboard our Wonderplace train car! Wonderplace is a children’s discovery space exclusively for scientists age 4–grade 2.
Camp In continues to be one of our most popular weekend group activities and is offered several times throughout the year.
If you can’t make the trip to the Museum, we will come to you! Our outreach programs provide an entire day of hands-on science fun at your school.
