Skating
Skating is available in 90-minute blocks, Sunday through Thursday at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at noon, 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Reserve your skate time online, call (804) 864-1400 or 800-659-1727, or at Guest Services. Skating continues through Sunday, Feb 17, 2008.
All skaters must read and sign a Release of Liability (pdf 52KB) form before skating. Parent or guardian must read and sign if skater is a minor.

You'll want to linger and study the fascinating images of snow crystals captured by physicist Kenneth G. Libbrecht. The United States Postal Service selected four of his photographs for their 2006 winter holiday season stamps. Libbrecht's "The Snowflake" and "The Little Book of Snowflakes" are available in Shop 4 Science. Included with exhibits admission.
