Group Visit & Resource Guide

Planning your group's visit is easy!

1. Do a little homework - it's fun! Group leaders planning a visit are always admitted free, so come explore the museum. If a free pre-visit isn't convenient, just read through the descriptions in this guide. It's a great overview of all of your options and it includes Virginia Standards of Learning correlations.

2. Decide what you want to do. Make a list or fill out the reservation form. Consider adding one of our outstanding giant-screen movies, planetarium shows, plays and programs. Identify two or three possible dates and remember to include check-in and departure time and 20 minutes for your group to visit the museum store, Shop 4 Science.

3. Make your reservation! Call the Group Reservations Center at (804) 864-1400 or 800-659-1727 and press 2, or fill out and submit a reservation form online. Our friendly and knowledgeable reservation specialists have years of experience helping leaders plan the perfect trip.
