LightPlace is a bright experience for our youngest scientists. This multi-faceted exploratory learning place promotes skill development in infants to 5-year-olds with age appropriate hands-on learning activities.
Engage your children to play, explore and learn in a setting that advances problem solving, social and environmental awareness, motor skills, sensory perception, object identification and introductory reading and math activities. Multi-sensory activities in LightPlace support developmental milestones that cultivate 21st century learning skill sets and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts.
New! The Museum has expanded preschool programming to five days a week! These programs take place at 10:30 am in the LightPlace exhibit and last approximately 20 minutes.
Tuesday and Wednesday
