Blackbird: Legacy of Innovation
Check out this documentary about the SR-71 “Blackbird!” Explore the development of the 1960s-era supersonic jet, the world’s fastest and highest-flying manned aircraft, and discover how the SR-71 currently suspended in the Museum (one of only 18 SR-71A models in existence) was moved from near the Richmond airport to historic Broad Street Station in 2016. This 20-minute segment is part of a documentary produced by Todd Hervey of Richmond-based Fuel Creative, Inc.
